Radio Yachts

The Illawarra Radio Yacht Club (IRYC) became the RC Yachts Division of IYC Sailing Incorporated when it relocated from Dunmore to our new location at the IYC on Lake Illawarra at Warrawong in 2022.

The IRYC has retained the same strong membership with a wide range of sailing experiences and willingness to offer help and advice to get you started in sailing radio controlled model yachts.

We sail a range of international class radio controlled model yachts on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11am and can be located adjacent to the boat sheds on the eastern side of the IYC main club, weather permitting. 

Newcomers are welcome to take up an opportunity to try one of the club boats or take some pointers from members who normally are happy to share their boats for those interested in trying our sport.
